Frequently Asked Questions
You will be paid every week for your assignments that are approved for payment by the agency/facility. We recommend you to set up direct deposit to get paid faster. Gento also offers next day payment for a small service fee.
When will I get paid for my services?
Absolutely! If you ever need assistance, we have a live agent ready to help you navigate through our onboarding process.
Is it possible to get assistance in the onboarding process from a live agent?
All documentation is done through our system which is a lot easier than most EMR.
How does the paperwork process work?
Unfortunately, none of the agencies/facilities pay for travel miles, but as an independent contractor – you can write off most expenses, including travel miles, at the end of the year.
Will I get paid for travel/miles?
That is entirely up to you and depending on how much you want to work. You will get more assignments by expanding your coverage areas and by working weekends. Availability is key!

To estimate your earnings, we review the past 6 months of demand data within 15 miles of your location, or the city selected. We choose the demand based on the information you provided in estimating your earning. If you register in www.gento.io/clinician you’ll get more specific estimate from a clinician specialist based on the information you provide during registration process. If you complete onboarding, you’ll be able to look up for rates before you accept an assignment. Gento offers total transparency. For areas with a limited demand, we may extend the distance above 15 miles to find demand.
Based on demand available in the location, and assuming you have atleast 25 assignments in completed state in a month, we estimate the average earning potential for you in a month. Assignments in completed state alone are selected to process payment.
The earning potential displayed is an estimate and not the actual payment you’ll receive. Your actual earnings will depend on several factors, including your availability, current rate offered by organizations that post demand in Gento, assignments you are able to complete promptly and the demand in your area. Your ability to get assignment to completed state may depend on the organization and you. During onboarding you’ll learn what you can do to get paid without delay.
